About the Taunus Filmfest
The Taunus Film Festival Oberursel is a international film festival and has been held for 15 years, the next time from August 7 to 10, 2025 takes place.
For more than a decade, the Taunus Filmfest Oberursel has become a tradition of storytelling and a destination for many local, national and international filmmakers.
Grown from a one-evening show, the program now offers four full festival days artists in Oberursel and actively contribute to the promotion of film culture.
The best films will be awarded cash prizes totaling EUR 2,500.

In mid-August 2025, the International Oberursel Film Festival to the May 14l takes place.
As in previous years, the festival will feature high-quality submissions from the whole world and show a selection of the best films to an interested audience.

Film enjoyment and workshops: Two days of film screenings (in the festival center "Elaya" as well as open-air in Rushmoor Park) with an extensive supporting program, networking events and workshops.

We have big plans and want to become an internationally recognized center of film culture in the region. To achieve this, we need support in the following areas:

All activities are unpaid because the entire team still works on a voluntary basis. But with a lot of passion and the desire to create something really great.
