In addition to film screenings, the Taunus Film Festival in Oberursel also offered visitors exciting workshops in which filmmakers showed practical tricks, such as how sounds are created in films. The "Sound in Film" format in particular illustrated the technical effort behind the scenes. With around 275 hours of submitted films, award ceremonies and open cinema evenings, the festival was further strengthened as a platform for creativity and exchange.

The Taunus Film Festival in Oberursel screened short and feature-length films, workshops and an award ceremony over four days and offered the audience insights into the world of independent cinema. „15. Taunale“ bietet im August fünf Tage Programm und gewinnt neue Spielstätten.
Oberursel – Beim Taunus Filmfest wird die Region zum Treffpunkt für Filmschaffende und Kreative – mit erweitertem Programm, neuen Spielstätten und einer Extraportion Festivalglanz. Zum 15. Mal geht die „Taunale“ im Sommer über die Bühne, und zwar fünf Tage lang. Das Festival beginnt am Mittwoch, 5. August, und endet am Sonntag, 9. August. Oberursel bleibt das Herzstück der Festspiele, das mit neuen Spielstätten aufwarten kann.

The 14th Taunus Filmfest Oberursel took place at five different locations, including Kinopolis Bad Homburg for the first time, and attracted almost 2,000 visitors with 40 short and feature-length films - twice as many as last year. In addition to the film program, the festival also offered workshops, live music and food trucks, with young people in particular being encouraged to take part in their own workshop and film.
The jury honored films such as "Happiness is a Wild Beast", and the festival team invites all Taunus communities to participate in the further development of the growing festival; the next festival is planned for August 2026.

Eva Debrodt, director of the Taunus Filmfest Oberursel, is in the final preparations a week before the festival starts on August 7, coordinating appointments with VIP guests such as Barbara Philipp and Jerry Digby as well as with volunteers, caterers and workshop leaders. She is particularly looking forward to the encounters and creative exchanges at the Network & Coffee event and the free open-air cinema evenings in Rushmoor Park.
The opening film "L'attachement" with director Carine Tardieu and star Valeria Bruni Tedeschi will be screened at the start of the festival, followed by a live interview with the director.
