The Taunus Film Festival is a international film festival, which has existed since 2010.
It has developed into a firm tradition of storytelling and attracts local, national and international filmmakers.
Originally a one-evening event, the festival now offers several days full of Film culture, encounters and exchange and actively contributes to the promotion of the art of film.
Prize money will be awarded to the best entries.

The Taunus Filmfest pursues the central goal of bringing people together. Since its first edition, this international film festival has not only focused on passion for cinema, but above all on togetherness and encounters between filmmakers and audiences.
The film festival offers a platform where filmmakers and viewers can talk to each other, discover new perspectives and exchange lasting impressions.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the festival invites you to exchange ideas, network and find inspiration - through film screenings, workshops and other community events. Local talents meet international guests, established professionals meet up-and-coming artists and creative minds meet curious viewers.
Every year, the Taunus becomes a meeting place for all those who share the fascination of cinema, want to experience stories together and actively shape film culture together.
The film festival stands for personal encounters and the emergence of new ideas through dialog between people.

We have big plans and want to become an internationally recognized center of film culture in the region. To achieve this, we need support in the following areas:

We are looking for support in Event management.
Are you creative?
We are looking for support in the Content Creation and in the Graphic design.
Do you like taking photos or videos?
We are looking for one or more Photographers and Videographers.
Do you like editing videos?
We are looking for one or more Video editors.
All activities are unpaid because the entire team still works on a voluntary basis. But with a lot of passion and the desire to create something really great.

Cooperation partner
We want to make the film festival an all-around event. We don't just want to show films; we also want to offer a great accompanying program.
