INNER MONSTER

Tine Stock tells the story of unleashing her inner monsters. This happens in large-scale paintings – on house walls and canvas. They are sprinkled with hope, courage, and an unbridled longing for more joy and freedom in her life.

The individual paintings stand on their own, asking about directions and what it takes to feel both darkness and light. They are peppered with scenes from childhood memories and dreams, giving the paintings a touch of fantastic realism.

The former tenured teacher is thus also documenting her own path and the realization of her dream of being a freelance artist. Together, the paintings tell her story, which the artist later plans to publish in a book.

In the exhibition, Tine Stock shows the current state of her work: photos and art prints of realized murals, as well as acrylic paintings and text concepts. In a presentation, she wants to take visitors along into this artistic process and her inner work.
